I’m selling my first set of studio lights. In a way the first lights that really introduced me to asymmetrical pack and head systems and paved the way for my current career. They’ve served me extremely well and held up in a variety of circumstances. I’ve used them for weddings, portraits, fashion shoots and the like. They’re not the fastest, but they are consistent and will continue to deliver for years to come. I stole these from an indian burial ground in 1980, but I assure you that they are not cursed. All of the terrible atrocities that have occurred in my life have been purely coincidental. 
Features:
Four Channels that can be tuned from 400 Ws to 50 Ws. Or symmetrically at 200 Ws per channel. Power out put can be adjusted to Full, Half or quarter (200, 100 or 50 W in isolated mode or 400, 200 or 100 Ws on a single circuit in combine mode). Modeling lights can be adjusted to match the ratio, turned off, or set at full. There’s an audio signal to tell you if you have fired the flash before the pack has had a chance to recharge. It also has a 15A fuse that can be reset incase of a power surge.
Parts for Norman packs can still be purchased new from places like Andromada, Vistek, Chimera, Sylvainia, Calumet, Technicare or even some resellers from Ebay. So don’t worry about not being able to get accesories, you still can as Norman has been smart enough to make everything backwards compatible going back a long way.

- 1 x Norman 808, 800 Ws Four Chanel Portrait Pack. Channel 2′s modeling circuit no longer works.
- 4 x LH500 600 Ws Heads with 3 FT6 Flash Tubes, 5″ reflectors, 150W model bulb (plus one extra BA15D Bulb) and 20′ cable. An extra flash tube can be purchased for $25 US plus shipping from here.
- 1 x Frosted Dome for LH500
- 1 x 5″ Barn Door and 1 Gel Holder
- 1 x 10 Degree, 1 x 30 Degree Grid Spots with Holders
- 2 x Speed Rings (for Soft Boxes)
- 1 x Photoflex 273 Small Softbox
- 1 5″ Yellow, Red, Green and Blue Gel in holders
- E-bay Radio Trigger compatible with the pack.

I’m asking $600 for the entire thing and, I don’t plan on parting it out as I think it’s better sold as I first got it. I’m passing the torch here to someone who wants a good set of lights but doesn’t have a fortune.
